you always lose something in the move: a collection

you always lose something in the move is an intimate collection of poems written during a season movement and transition.

I am a Michigan born, LA- based writer that carries place in my fingertips. After undergrad at University of Michigan, I attended Stanford University for graduate school and moved down the coast to LA, following the conferral of my MA.Ed. A former educator, I currently write, and operate my company: TheWrtngHouse.

After almost 3 years of movement and transition, I am learning to navigate what 'home' truly means. This small collection, invites readers to join me. Illustrations are by New York artist, tarah douglas.

you always lose something in the move: a collection, is my first work in- print.
